| Barry Pittman, the owner of
IOS (Mk2a, #227) has written to ask if anyone is interested in a swap /
part exchange of his twin diesel version for a Mk2a outboard version: "She has original twin Volvo MD6A engines and Volvo 100S sailboat drives, a superb installation, but too heavy for my purposes as I live aboard and need to loose some weight. I think it would be a sacrilege to sell off the engines and fit an outboard. The boat is in very original, very sound, and very jaded condition. She is out of the water at Gweek Quay Boatyard, Cornwall at the moment for refitting. I am planning to put her back in the water at the end of the summer and move somewhere as yet undecided" Barry would also be pleased to hear from other owners refitting to exchange information etc. |
